When Irish Eyes are Smilin' (in Belize) sure 'tis like a morn in spring!
Welcome to Ka'ana Resort!
In 2006 - far from the shores of The Emerald Isle, two Irish Rovers set out for greener pastures in Belize. They brought their rich traditions and warm hospitality to a land famous for its own rich traditions and warm hospitality. Along the way, they sprinkled their brand of magical Irish fairy dust in the Cayo rainforest in Western Belize. The result? Ka'ana Resort.
Their story reads a bit like an Irish fairy tale – full of colour and wonder – with legendary footnotes.

Doffing the Dublin corporate world in 2002, Ronan Hannan - now 36 - headed to South Africa to kick in with his kid brother, Colin, who was working in real estate development.Harnessing their considerable talents, they kindled a concept for a luxury Belize rainforest resort - replete with an adventure component.
"We really wanted to find a place that wasn't exploding in growth," says Colin, 29. Belize fit the bill and the Hannan brothers moved to Belize in 2006.
Drawing on their savings and equity from friends and family, their beautiful Belize brainchild was born – Ka'ana Belize. This 17-room, 16-acre Belize boutique resort serves up 5-star comfort and top o' the line adventure including jaguar tracking and ziplining excursions.
Accommodation options vary at Ka'ana Boutique Resort & Spa. If you opt to vacation in their 2500 sq. ft., 2-bedroom Pool Villas, you'll luxuriate in an environment offering Private Dining Options, Private Gardens, Private Plunge Pool....and your very own Personal Houseman.
